Chris Kuhlman
Raised in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Chris Kuhlman is the founder and principal attorney of the Law Offices of Christopher Kuhlman, PLLC. Prior to opening his firm, Chris worked as a U.S. District Court extern for Judge Lesley Brooks Wells, advocated on behalf of personal injury clients in London, and worked for several years as an associate at one of the nation's largest law firms; Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi. Chris has represented both small and large businesses in a variety of litigation matters, including breach of contract claims, trademark disputes, antitrust liability, and patent infringement. He has also counseled businesses on acquisitions, employment matters, protection of trade secrets, environmental impact matters, and issues regarding formation and appropriate use of the corporate structure. Chris' broad legal background gives him the unique ability to quickly appreciate his clients' legal issues from a variety of perspectives and to map out the best, most cost-effective plan to address such matters.
Chris prides himself on his ability to both effectively try cases in the courtroom and at the appellate level, where the brunt of advocacy lies in an attorney's ability to write persuasive and compelling briefs. Chris' favorite part of private practice, however, is connecting with his clients and helping them achieve their legal goals. Thus, whether you are a small business contemplating a significant transaction or litigation or an individual confronted with an unanticipated lawsuit, Chris is willing to carefully listen to your concerns and advise you as to how they can best be addressed through use of the legal process.
In his spare time, Chris involves himself with Second Harvest Heartland, Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights, the Volunteer Lawyers Network, and serves on the board of directors for Emergency & Community Health Outreach ("ECHO"). He is also an avid follower of the Minnesota Twins and an outdoors enthusiast.
